From 1991, whenever I spoke of food related toxins, I was ridiculed. At that time very few people were conducting research into this issue. Most thought that it was a ridiculous notion, that food could make someone sick, unless it was related to poor handling.
When toxins such as high fructose corn syrup, chemical flavor enhancers or, antimicrobial agents; it's reasonable to understand that people can experience bad reactions. When you ingest food that has been treated with pesticides or, food products that have mycotoxins, aflatoxins or, ergot molds, the body has a really tough time filtering the toxins. The more you ingest these toxins, the more they build up in your body. Same goes for heavy metals (mercury) as, these too can make you very sick. Of course the symptoms of disease or, illness will vary from person to person. The degree of illness or, effects depends on
1. The amount ingested
2. The course of time, that the toxins are ingested
3. Your immune system
4. Your age
and so on..
Chemicals fertilizers, pesticides and genetically modified organisms are used to prevent food scarcity. Sadly, this has taken a toll on our many people and, our soils (globally) have been depleted of the natural, inherit values (minerals etc..). This has created a deficit in how millions of insects can protect themselves from extinction. So it should be of no surprise that many of these insects are now adapting to the new environments, for survival.
Food-related allergies may not what is making you sick; it could be, poison-related allergies that are making you sick.
Over the years, in operating a successful Community Supported Agricultural Program, I've learned that people who have been diagnosed with egg allergies have no trouble at all in consuming the eggs produced here, at Rainbow Ranch Farms. It;s interesting because, many have been tested and are intolerant of
1. Certified Organic eggs
2. Pasture-Raised eggs
3. Natural eggs
4. Commercial eggs
So, what's the difference?
The differences are that 99.9% of all small farms found online, offline, at farmers markets all use very similar "standard" industry practices in raising chickens and, producing eggs.
Misleading marketing is designed to make the consumer think that because the hens are raised on a lush, green pasture; that those eggs are better. This could not be further from the truth. Chickens do not eat grass as a full spectrum diet and, they require far more bugs, insects and grubs, than you could ever expect to see on any given poultry farm.
Just because chickens are walking on grass, does not make the eggs more nutritious. Most farmers feed their chickens grains (corn, soy, wheat, barley, rye) and, other things which are not natural to chickens, such as oyster shell or, gypsum powder. Grains have their own set of toxic problems and, oyster shells have their own problems too, especially after the nuclear spill of Russia and, Japan.
People, sensitive to molds, hard grains and, gluten should avoid meat, poultry and eggs derived from grain-fed livestock. This includes foods (butter, cream, milk, cheese etc) derived from sources that have been grain-fed and, supplemented with grains too.
Livestock that are supplemented with corn, soy, wheat, barley, rye, peanuts (or similar) are either being exposed to or, consuming grains known to be contaminated with aflatoxins, mycotoxins or, ergot. Over time, these toxic molds can build up in your body, making it difficult for your kidneys to properly filter and, can eventually lead to illness or disease (cancer, chronic kidney disease, skin disorders, renal failure etc).
This is why I specifically raise, produce and grow pure food. I am passionate about promoting the healing powers of toxic-free food. Physio-organic, holistic food promotes muscular density, anti-inflammation and, can reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, obesity, cancer and, leaky gut. Rainbow Ranch Farms is best known for producing and, growing the cleanest, purest, freshest meat, poultry, eggs, raw honey and dairy; by standards set by nature, not by man.
