Kosher Raw WILD Honey

Kosher Raw WILD Honey

During the spring and, summer I really enjoy having my first cup of coffee out in the orchard. As I sit on the wrought iron bistro chair, it brings me tremendous joy as I spend time with my honey bees. It is so very peaceful. Sometimes I read them poetry or, sing to them and, I think they like it.

The hives are situated in Wrightwood (off hwy 138), Apple Valley at Mary's Goat's Ranch and, here in the RRF orchard. The bees work hard to produce the most nutritious honey that you will ever taste. Did you know that honey has been linked to health benefits like, improved heart health, wound healing, and blood antioxidant status? Yes. The research is abundant.

Not sold by the pound. Sold by the item. Size depends on the season and, cultivation amounts.

Color of RRF raw, unheated honey can vary from golden light to deep dark. The darkest being wild Desert buckwheat honey. The flavors are also seasonal and, always a sweet surprise. Raw, unheated honey may crystalize faster than other honey. If this happens, just place your jar in some warm water.

Most bee keepers, even certified organic bee keepers use pesticides, insecticides, essential oils, spices and, antibiotics as preventative measures which, is permitted by the USDA/National Organic Program. Honey bees here do everything themselves and, have developed strong, sustainable and, far superior colonies, over the decades. I still continue to rescue wild bee hives from extermination  and, athough I rescue all (German, Italian, Hawaiian) bees; my specialty is in African killer bees. This is because these are the bees, most often exterminated.

Honey bees at RRF do not even need over-winter feeding, like others do and, we love this because, we do not like sugar-based honey. We enjoy the real thing and, I think you will too.

Kosher honey must have all bee parts strained out. This product is also RAW

Take a teaspoon of the honey and put in a glass full of water. Fake or adulterated honey will dissolve in the water while pure honey which has a more dense texture will settle right at the bottom of the glass as lumps.

Rainbow Ranch Farms is a state (CDFA) certified and registered beekeeper with apiaries producing PURE, RAW honey in Southern California. (California Department of Food and Agriculture).

We only cultivate honey from excess hive stores and, this also means that we are ethical beekeepers and, humane. Months that the bees do not mind us cultivating extra stores of honey include April, May, June, July and, August. Otherwise, the rest of the time, they are using it for themselves.

Our bees are never transported to pollinate commercial farms (almonds, nuts, other fruit orchards etc.), this is especially important as we do not know what those farmers are using on orchards, even though they may be organic. Most nut orchards spray fungicides to control mycotoxins. These fungicides are not only harmful to the bees but, also can contaminate the honey.

*Our raw, wild, Desert Buckwheat honey can be very dark amber in color and, have a mild molasses-like familiarity . *Our Apple Valley raw, wild, Desert honey can be golden amber in color and, features the wild, native flavors that you can always expect from indigenous vegetation. *Our raw, wild, Desert Garden honey sports the natural sweetness  that your body craves and can vary in color and, flavor (depending on season).
